Yonatan ben Uziel was, according to the Talmud, the foremost disciple of Hillel the Elder, active around the turn of the common era. Tradition attributes to him the Targum (Aramaic translation) of the Prophets. His tomb in Amuka, Galilee, is reputed to be auspicious for finding a spouse.
